Poster Competition

Children are invited to take part in our 2026 poster competition, reflecting next year's national Children’s Week theme: “Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.”

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their creativity, share their unique perspectives, and celebrate what culture, language, and belonging mean to them. All entries will help shine a light on the rich diversity of children’s voices across our communities.

The winning artwork will be professionally adapted and reproduced as the official 2026 National Children’s Week Poster, which will be shared and displayed across Australia during Children’s Week.

Entries close Friday, 21 November 2025.
